Configuring email services for a merchant

1. Are you ready?
   
   In this tutorial we will learn how to configure an email service for a merchant.
   
   We will use the following parameters:
   

   E-mail service: smtp
   Encryption Type: SSL
   Host: smtp.myemail.com
   Port: 587
   From: alerts@myemail.com
   Username: myserviceemail
   Password: pass9870
   
2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.
   
   Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
   
3. Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.
   
4. Click   Detailsbutton in the top section of the screen.
   
5. Choose   Profiles  menu item  from the list.
   
6. Locate   Group  column
7. Locate     Notifications label.
   
8. Click   Modify Provider Profilebutton next to Email label.
   
9. Choose smtp     from the list of email services.
   
10. Click   modify...menu item

11. Select SSL in Encryption Type dropdown.
    
12. Enter smtp.myemail.com into the Host textbox.
    
13. Enter 587 into the Port textbox.
    
14. Enter myserviceemail into the User Name textbox.
    
15. Enter pass9870 into the Password textbox.
    
16. Enter alerts@myemail.com into the From textbox.
    
17. After you are done, your screen should look similar to the screenshot.

18. Click   Savebutton to save changes on the form.
    
19. Click   Savebutton to save new configuration for the merchant.
    
20. Congratulations, you are done!
