How to create a terminal without subsequent order

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we will learn how to create a terminal without an order in cases, when you do not integrate with fulfillment center service provider.

    Note that you need to create a fulfillment center, even if it is not used for the order. It is needed to contain a list of models, injection keys, shipping methods that are chosen when the order is being created. To learn how to create a fulfillment center, review this tutorial.

    We will use the following parameters:
    Code: ElavonManaged002
    Type: General POS
    Fulfillment Center: My Fulfillment Center
    Model: IWL250
    Injection Key: Elavon viaConex4
    Configuration: POS Standalone
    Terminal ID: 004
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Locate   Merchant  dropdown and select appropriate Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.

    Note: You are not able to add a terminal for a Merchant; only Merchant Account should be used.
  4. Click   Terminalsbutton in the top section of the screen.
  5. Choose Assigned  tab  
  6. Click   Addbutton
  7. Choose New Terminal (Extended)  menu item  
  8. Locate   General  groupbox
  9. Enter ElavonManaged002 into the Codetextbox
  10. Select General POS in Typedropdown
  11. Locate   Settings  groupbox
  12. Select My Fulfillment Center in Fulfillment Centerdropdown
  13. Select IWL250 in Modeldropdown
  14. Select Elavon viaConex4 in Injection Keydropdown
  15. Select POS Standalone in Configurationdropdown
  16. Locate   Provider Profile  groupbox
  17. Enter 004 into the Terminal IDtextbox
  18. Click   Savebutton
  19. Congratulations, you are done!
